STETSON - A HAT THAT DEFINED AN ERA

For over 150 years, no other name has been more synonymous with hats than Stetson. Founded during the pioneering days on the western front of America, John B. Stetson was like many other prospectors during the time looking for wealth. This area soon become known as the Wild West, famous for cowboys, gunslingers, prospectors and outlaws. In 1865 John B.Stetson crafted his first hat that was unlike any other, with a high crown and wide brim that was durable enough to withstand the harsh western front. Today this style of hat is known the world over, as the “cowboy hat”.
